Succulents and indoor plants
The general rules are that houseplants should be watered once a week to keep them healthy. Succulents have different levels of hardiness, but as a general rule they will thrive in well-draining soil, such as cactus soil, sand, gravel, or volcanic rock. The soil has to be moist since succulents hate having “wet feet.” Many succulents go dormant in colder climates, if you receive a succulent in spring that is a little dull around the edges, place it in sunlight and it should perk up. Most succulents need between half a day and a full day of sunlight.
